Katie's Kickers Receives 2022 Best of Norfolk Award

At the conclusion of 2022, Katie’s Kickers was recognized by the Norfolk Award Program as a recipient of the 2022 Best of Norfolk Awards in the Swim School category.



This achievement recognizes Katie’s Kickers for showing great success and a positive impact in the local community alongside other “local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and [the] community.”


Having served the greater Hampton Roads community for many years now, we at Katie’s Kickers pride ourselves in being a trusted resource available to all local families looking to teach and equip themselves and their children with the tools needed to practice water safety.


By choosing one of our many diverse classes offered, families are gaining not just the physical skills and insight needed for proper water safety, but they’re plugging into an enriching and encouraging community of local families. The enthusiasm and dedication of our instructors is unmatched, and the passion we have for teaching little swimmers to enjoy water safely fuels us in our mission. 


Our dedication to providing an excellent service to our community means that our instructors are all American Red Cross Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR certified. With our lessons ranging from 6-8 weeks in length, we also delight in knowing each child by name and communicating clearly with parents the progress, success, and confidence we see their children exhibiting in their lessons.


We are honored to be recognized by our Hampton Roads community as well as being recognized by local families as having a positive impact in their lives. We are encouraged by this award to continuing building upon the trust and commitment we’ve established in the community as we look ahead.
